Upholstered chair with a continuous-profile, curved wood frame. The quilted leather or fabric upholstery, enhanced by tone-on-tone piping along the edge of the backrest, accentuates the enveloping design. The tapered metal legs with turned feet are available in a variety of finishes, striking a refined balance between materiality and proportion. Alessandro La Spada defines himself a "designer with the manner of a craftsman". His motto: "perform in order to learn" He studied at the i.d.i. interior design institute in Milan where he graduated in 1990. From 1990 to 1994 he collaborated with the studio Sawaya e Moroni, designing interiors and following the development of the company's prototypes.
